WebPify is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data when you use our web application and desktop software.
Data Processing
Web Application
We do not collect, store, or transmit your images. All image processing happens entirely in your browser using WebAssembly technology. Your files never leave your device.
- Images are processed locally in your browser memory
- No uploads to any server
- No cloud storage
- Files are automatically cleared when you close the browser tab
Desktop Application
The desktop application processes all files locally on your computer. No data is transmitted to external servers.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
Requires explicit consent. Google Analytics is loaded ONLY after you accept the cookie banner. We collect anonymous data to help us improve the service:
- Pages visited and features used
- Browser type and device information
- Geographic location (city level, anonymized IP)
- Time spent on the site
GDPR Compliance: All IP addresses are automatically anonymized. Data is retained for 14 months (Google's default setting). You can revoke consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies.
If you decline consent, no analytics cookies will be installed and no data will be sent to Google Analytics.
Advertising
Our web application displays ads through Google AdSense. AdSense may use cookies to show relevant advertisements. We do not control the cookies set by AdSense.

These cookies are activated ONLY after your explicit consent via the banner. You can revoke consent by clearing your browser cookies.

Data Retention
Since we don't collect your images or personal data, there is nothing to retain. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics according to their data retention policy (14 months by default).
Your Rights
Under GDPR and other privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Request information about data we collect
- Request deletion of any data associated with you
- Opt out of analytics tracking
- Disable cookies in your browser
Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
